Calvin Brown, 81, of Las Vegas passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was born May 5, 1940 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Calvin was a faithful member of First AME Church North Las Vegas. Calvin had a Christian heart with a desire to be of service to others. He also was a Retired U.S. Air Force Officer and Professor.
A memorial service will be at 10:00am Monday November 1, 2021 at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 West Warm Springs Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89113.
Calvin will be buried at 1:20pm, Wednesday December 1, 2021 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
Calvin was preceded in death by his son, parents and siblings. Left to celebrate Calvin’s life is his wife, Willie; his daughters, Debbie & Diana; grandson, Anaeus; niece, Valerie; God daughters, Lilly & Brie; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
