Buenaventura "Ben" C Panlilio

Buenaventura “Ben” Panlilio, 84, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on September 22, 2018. Ben was born in Manila, Philippines on July 14, 1934 to his parents, Pablo and Maura Panlilio. Ben married the love of his life, Maria Purita Panlilio on January 20, 1962, and later that year their son Ray was born. Together they immigrated to the US on July 12, 1969, where they settled in Southern California and raised their growing family. Ben spent his career in accounting, before retiring as a Chief Financial Officer and moving with Purita to Las Vegas in 2000. Outgoing, jovial and known to make friends with strangers, Ben was an avid golfer and gardener. He was also an active volunteer with the annual Shriner’s Hospital Golf Tournament as well as with the Republican Party. Every day up until his last he could be found doing the crossword in the Las Vegas Review Journal. Ben is survived by his wife, Purita Panlilio, son Ray Panlilio (and wife Jennifer Panlilio), daughter Michelle Panlilio Oden (and husband Jeff Boehling), grandchildren Nathan Larson Panlilio and Finley Ray Panlilio, and siblings Ernesto Panlilio, Zenaida Panlilio Isip and Wilfrido Panlilio.
