Bobby Ray Amphy also Known by family and friends as RED, was born on February 19, 1952 in Monroe Louisiana, to Janie Mae Winchester and Dennis Amphy. He married His true love Barbara Amphy in 1976. Bobby worked as a black jack dealer for El Cortez and the Riviera Hotel and Casino for over 25 years.
He was a devoted Husband, father and grandfather. Bobby enjoyed collecting artwork, playing pool and watching classic movies.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memory to: his wife, Barbara Amphy, his only son Ray Amphy and three daughters Barbara Jenkins, Goldie Amphy and Candice Gibbs. Twelve grandchildren Sammisha and Samirah Wesley, I’zevion Johnson, Tyheishia Jackson, Angela Amphy, E’lexcea Rising, Deonnia and Candice Heglar, Camron Amphy Nyla Gibbs, Rayven Amphy and Kailyn Gibbs. His brother Herman Amphy and Sister and a host of nieces, nephews and friends
Bobby is proceeded in death by his Parents, Janie Mae Winchester and Dennis Amphy; His sister Rosemarie Amphy and Gloria Dean Amphy- Rice; His brothers, Dennis, Joseph, Johnile and Tommy Amphy.
He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who had the pleasure to meet him.
