Blaine J. Melville, 68, a resident of the Las Vegas area, passed away on February 6, 2018 at VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System due to heart problems.
He was born on November 27, 1949 in Jackson, Michigan but grew up in Northern California. He graduated from Lynbrook High School. He then went into the United States Air Force in telecommunications and was stationed at Tan Son Nhut Air Base where he met his wife of 45 years, Mai Loan. They married in Vietnam.
He settled down in California until retirement and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and also lived in St. George, Utah.
He enjoyed going to the movies. He was a history buff, and spent a lot of time learning about holistic medicine and natural remedies.
He is survived by his wife Mai; his daughter Vonny; son Noah; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on February 26, 2018. Visitation/Viewing at 8:00 to 9:30 am at Palm Eastern Mortuary, Mass at 10:00 am and burial at 12:00 pm at the VA Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.
