Benjamin Byung-Ki Hong, age 55, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Ben is survived by his wife, Jennifer of Los Angeles; mother Clara and brother Steve of Las Vegas; sister Susan of Seattle; uncle Hosang Son and aunt Miyoung of Auckland; aunt Youngae Furuya and uncle Tomio of Yamanashi; cousins Yuri and Eigi of Tokyo; cousin Myoung-Joon of Seoul; mother-in-law Soon-hee Woo, brother-in-law Thomas, sisters-in-law Michelle and Elizabeth, and nephew Kenneth, all of Castaic. Ben was preceded in death by his father Jonathan, and father-in-law Sung-dong Hur.
Ben graduated from Chaparral High School, UNLV and USC, and most recently lived in Los Angeles with Jennifer and their dog Domino.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on July 30 at 5:00PM at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W Warm Springs Rd, Las Vegas.
