Barbara Hansen Mills

Barbara H. Mills, 89, passed away May 28, 2023, in Las Vegas. Barbara was born August 10, 1933, in Leland, Utah to the late Winford Neils Hansen and Melba Hazel Greenhalgh. She was the fifth of six children and grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah. Barbara worked as a seamstress and in the banking industry. Later, she married Linnis “Linn” Mills, June 29, 1961, in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Barbara was a very private person, which also was reflected in her quiet service to others. She was kind, loving and had a quick wit about her. She was very accomplished at tatting, a lost art today, and made many beautiful doilies and handkerchiefs. Barbara’s pride and joy were her grandchildren whom she loved so dearly. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Linnis; brothers, George and Morris; sisters, Helen and Marilyn. She is survived by her daughter, Missy Cahill; son-in-law, James Cahill; grandchildren, Noah, Calley, Courtney and Jacob Cahill; sister, Irena Larsen.

A viewing and service will be held Saturday, June 10, at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV. The viewing will be from 10 am - 12 pm and a service will follow immediately thereafter.
