Barbara L. Calhoun

Barbara was a graduate of Commerce High School, in Yonkers, NY

Barbara went on to be a wife and married Kenneth C. Kelley Sr. In that union she had three children daughter Donnetta R. Kelley, of Las Vegas, NV, sons Michael L. Kelley of Yonkers, NY, and Kenneth C. Kelley Jr., who preceded her in passing.

She is survived by her grandchildren DaRon Kelley, of Las Vegas, NV HenriettaEboni Crayton of Las Vegas, NV Great grandchildren Jourdan Kelley, Justice Kelley, Maia Kelley, Malaysia Kelley and Kaliah Harris, sister Yvonne Anderson (Sissy) of Atlanta GA. and one brother John H Calhoun Jr of Yonkers, NY and a host of nieces and nephews. She had two loving sisters Sandra Manning, Donna Womack and one great grandson that all preceded her in passing.

Mama retired as a Correctional Sergeant from the Westchester County jail in Valhalla, NY. She then

relocated to Las Vegas over 25 years ago. Mama enjoyed worshipping and served as a committed servant of the Lord at HTAME church. She served on many committees and was ordained after a persistent commitment to answering Gods call on her life. At the age of 70, she was ordained on October 31, 2009. She was known by many as Reverend Calhoun. Mama was a faithful & loyal servant. Her kindness radiated through her! She was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
