From the Grgurich Family:  Annette was a very special person and a bright light for all of those coaches, players, and staff who passed thru her office on the way into Coach Tark’s.  She was the gatekeeper!  She was a sister, auntie, and grand mom to many.  Her loyalty to the program was unquestioned.   It is difficult for us to accept that she is no longer amongst us.  However,  she is smiling and laughing up there in heaven, with Coach Tark,  her buddy Cle Edwards, and the always memorable Mark Warkentien.    Rest in peace Annette.   Love ❤️ you.

Dear Frank, Michelle and family, our deepest sympathies on the loss of your wonderful wife and mother. I have fond memories of visiting Annette and aunt Helen 👸 in Newark at the parole office many many Times before she moved to Las Vegas. She was a wonderful soul and our prayers are with you.

Annette was a wonderful person in every way. There will never be another one  like her. So loyal and kind hearted. So intelligent with the street smarts to keep everyone in a positive frame of mind. We all miss her.

I am m having a difficult time trying to find the proper words to say “Good Bye “ to my wonderful friend. She was the strongest, most courageous person I have ever known. She endured years of pain and illness without complaining while still enjoying the company of friends and family. I will miss her so much; but, I take comfort in knowing that  she is now in the company of angels and saints with our loving God. I can only say “Rest in peace my beautiful , beloved friend “.

There is not enough space to write the many memories I share with Annette and the Fazio family collectively. How does one memorialize someone as unique and wonderful as my friend? However, I can recount the years, briefly, and share the good times. It was 1985 when I first walked into the Basketball Office to work with the  athletes. Annette was "manning the desk holding the office together amongst the whirling energy of all who worked in the Thomas and Mack." As a Gemini , she  welcomed me into the diaspora and we became fast friends. I shared many conversations , many dotted with laughter. The office became a family and Annette was the"Inn Keeper" holding everything together to make the Run-in' Rebels a Winning Team. Those who are reading this memorial please note that was no easy job. Christmas Eve my former husband and I were  invited to the Fazio's fora celebration each year. We talked about New Jersey (I am from Teaneck, NJ), ate her wonderful cooking (the best), sat at the long table in the living room with friends and family alike, and enjoyed ourselves, sometimes leaving at 4 am!  As way leads on to way and we all retired, our good friend from the Ticket Office, Olivia Riggle, has held our friendships together. We have been the Girls Night Out, dining together, since the 1980's. We will miss her and think of her always. Please keep her memory alive because she will walk with you forever.

Annette, nobody will make Gravy like you. I hope there is a big shopping mall in heaven because you will be buying more purses. 

With a heavy heart I say-Rest in Peace. Your spirit and essence has made this earth a better place.

It was such a shock to get this news.
In the 7 years I spent working with Annette at Basketball, she kept everything running behind the scene. She was smart, fun, amazing with her knowledge of the system, and like a second Mom to me. And even more, a sincere and loyal friend.
The world will be a little less bright without her, and I will never forget her.
Take comfort in the many memories you have, and know she was loved by many.

Frank and Family,
So sorry to hear that Annette passed.  She was the best of the best.  From the time I arrived at UNLV in 1982, she taught me so much on how to navigate and survive.  You could always count on Annette.  She was very special.  Cherish the great memories and good times together and will be thinking of you.  Take care.
