Andrew R. Vallone, 88, husband of Susan V. Vallone (nee Porter) passed away on October 5, 2024. He was a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada for 23 years, Arlington, Texas for 5 years and was born and lived in Chicago, Illinois where he graduated from Wells High School.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Vallone and Concentena (Margaret) Vallone, his twin sons, James and Mark, and his granddaughter, Mia. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Susan, their son, Craig, Michael (Jamie), Bob and David (Sue) his grandsons Nicholas, Lucas, Jackson, and Michael, his godson Danny Porter, aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews, brother-in-law and sister-in-law. He was a member of the Drum and Bugle Core, truck driver for 32 years for the United Parcel Service, a real estate agent for ten years, real estate developer / investor, part-time actor, a PFC in the Army, a member and retiree of Teamsters 705 for 60 years, one of the founding members of PUPS, 4th degree Knights of Columbus, flea market entrepreneur, Kiwanis member, Boy Scout Leader, bingo player and avid sports fan, especially the Chicago Blackhawks.
He passed away on this youngest son’s birthday as a symbol he will look spiritually after him the rest of his life – this is the ultimate gift he could leave his son.
A memorial mass for Andrew will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 6350 N Fort Apache Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89149. A celebration of life reception will occur Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 6350 N Fort Apache Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89149. An inurnment will occur at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL.
