Ana Mercedes Mejia, born November 26th, 1951, to father Victor M Portillo, Sr. and mother Ana Mercedes de Portillo in El Salvador. She would then immigrate to the United States in 1972.
Ana passed on October 23rd, 2022 at the age of 70 surrounded by her loving daughter, dearest son and husband. Ana lived life to the fullest enjoying spending time with family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and a beautiful laughter that could light up a room. Throughout her life Ana loved cooking, water aerobics, sewing, various crafts, playing board games and trying her luck at slot machines.
Ana is survived by her husband Joaquin, daughter Nancy, son Gustavo, 4 grandchildren; Alexis, Sydney, Hailee, Charles II and son in law Charles. She also leaves behind siblings, nieces, nephews and many friends.
