Alfred Sciarretta, 81, a retired home builder, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was born June 3, 1930 in Paterson, New Jersey and had been a resident of Nevada since 2001. Alfred is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beverly Sciarretta; daughter, Darlene (John) Ensign; son, Jeffrey (Gabriela) Sciarretta; sisters, Aida Libonn, Josephine Jacob and Ernestine Pandurovits and grandchildren, Trevor, Siena, Michael, Josiah, Gianna and Jedediah. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 10th at 11:00AM, with visitation beginning at 9:30AM, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89129. Interment will be at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, August 11th at 10:40AM.
