Albert G. Ling Jr., 70, of North Las Vegas, passed away Oct. 14 2010. He was born July 7, 1940, in Birmingham, Ala., and was a seven-year resident of Nevada. He retired from Pacific Telephone in 1983 in California, ran several of his own businesses until his full retirement in 2007. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Albert was preceded in death by his father, Albert Ling; mother, Ethel Ling; sisters, Ruth Harriet Ling Smith and Norma Gail Ling Hall; and nephew, George R. Smith. He is survived by his wife, Jerrie; Bichons Freise, Daniel and TJ; nieces, Vickie Hoff (Harry) and Cindy Lott (Brad) of California; nephews, Mark Hall (Lara) and Scott Hall (Tenille); and six great-nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Donations can be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice.
