Mr. Davis loved and demonstrated what a prefect neighbor should be. I knew him in Earle and needed him in Las Vegas. At a very difficult  time in my life , I was invited to live in the home of the Davis family.  At this time, I had a young child and had not finished school.  The only condition of me living there was to gain my diploma and become self sufficient. I met the expectations and have been able to live a good life.  Mr.  Davis and the family helped me in every way. I was a long way from home in Las Vegas but, they made me feel secure and at home. I will never forget the impact and influence this has  made in life. Your generosity and regards for education is who you are beyond your passing. Your legacy will live on for generations- if we all just tell your story! Thank you Mr. D! You are a true man of valor. I was able to witness it first hand. Rest in much love❤️ Rebi

What I remember is that Mr. Davis, regardless of how busy the Profession of School Principlal was, he always took the time to listen to any concerns and feedback from the Parents. Because of his support through his consistent dedication and professionalism the 6 Wooten Brothers and Sister and many others from Earle, Arkansas went on to complete 12 years of education without a hitch. Thank you, Sir., R.I.P.

 When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a Gift of Memory in Exchange.  In 1965 I was hired as a Language Arts teacher in Earle, AR. I was told to go down to Dunbar High to meet the Principal.  There I met the most friendliest principal that I had ever met who was Mr. Albert Davis, Jr.  During the many years as my Principal,  I found him to be the Most Competent, Intelligent, and Caring Principal that I had ever had.  Even after he and his family  moved to Las Vegas,  I could always depend on him and Byron to  assist me in anything that I needed while I was visiting in his Fair City.   Well Done:  Mr. Albert Davis, Jr.

Good morning family, many of you may not know this, but this was my favorite uncle and I would tell him this all the time and he would tell me you’re my favorite niece. As I got older how could I be with so many nieces. He really did make me feel I was his favorite. He also made the best mashed potatoes with boiled eggs and mayonnaise. He was the best, he taught me about life. I visit with him every summer of my life along with my grandparents. Staying on the farm was a learning experience. I was so blessed. We will see you again my uncle and friend. Keeping y’all in prayer family.

Mr. Albert Davis, Jr was a great man and principal/Educator.  He really cared about the welfare of the children and staff entrusted to him at Dunbar/Earle School.  He was well loved and respected by everyone who knew him.  My heartfelt prayers and condolences to his family and friends.  Evelyn, the Earle High School Class of 1977, is with you on this very difficult journey of healing and mourning.  In time when you feel you are getting weak, look to the hill for which cometh your help and God will see you through this sad period in your life.  Love you Class of 1977.     

Rest In Peace Dear Friend, Colleague, Boss, and Father.  We met at  one of my visits from Dallas Texas to Las Vegas in 1987 through a friend.  Over the past 34 years plus, our friendship  blossomed quickly.   Albert Davis Jr.  is one of the best people I ever met and worked with.  His kindness, love,  amazing smiles and jokes will always be remembered.

Condolences to the Davis family!  I remember when I was in the eighth grade,  at the beginning of the year in shop we each pick a project to do and mine was a shelf.  At the end of the school year you get to take it home.   The teacher would not let me and Mr. DAVIS  walk over to the shop and made the teacher give me my project and I took it home to a proud mother.  Wood knock  shelf still sit on the wall.(He was a champion of Righteousness). REST IN PEACE MR. DAVIS AND THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DONE FOR DUNBAR HIGH IN EARLE, ARKANSAS.
