Aaron King, 76, of Las Vegas, passed away, July 7, 2012. He was born Feb. 29, 1936, in Lake Providence, La., to Elizabeth Graham and Richmond King. Aaron was a gentle and soft spoken person. He always had good, kind and knowing words of advice. He is survived by his loving wife, Ola King; son, Victor King of Huntsville, Ala.; and daughter, Shirley Smith of Las Vegas. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren Tameia, Shawanna, Lacarra, Aaron, Lakeiwa, Alexxis and Crystal. Aaron is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; nephew, Radley Walker of Baton Rouge, La.; uncle, Willie King of Detroit; and daughter-in-law, Tongela King of Huntsville. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, both at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. He will be missed dearly, but never forgotten. We know that Aaron is in a safe place where nothing can harm him. He is in Jehovah's memory sleeping and waiting for that commanding call to awaken to resurrection of life eternal on a paradise on earth. Oh, what a blessed day that will be.
