Thomas A. Halsey Jr.

HALSEY, Thomas A., Jr, 77 of Clearwater passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Suncoast Hospice Care Center Mid Pinellas. Thomas was born on May 27, 1939 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to the late Thomas A & Anne (Taltavall) Halsey, Sr. He moved to this area around 1979 coming from New Jersey. Thomas was a veteran of the US Navy. He retired from GE, Lockheed Martin and was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church of Largo, FL. He also belonged to the Down Shifters Club and the American Legion. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather brother & uncle and a great friend to all who knew him. Thomas will be truly missed by all. Surviving are two sons Thomas J Halsey of South Bend, IN & Tyler (Taffi) Morris of Tampa, FL, a daughter Deborah (Stephen) Walker of Waycross. GA along with eight grandchildren Joshua, Nick, Mylan, Ethan, Jacob, Michael, Heather & Ben and one great granddaughter Kambree. Also surviving are two brothers John Halsey of Dunedin, FL and Alan (Millie) Halsey of Tarpon Springs, FL and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be offered to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760.
