It has been over 2 years since you went to be with the Lord and still seems impossible to believe.  As another holiday draws near it reminds Mark & me of the many many of those special occasions you spent at our house enjoying family time.  We miss the sound of your voice, the talks about our kids, grand babies, dog babies, all manner of family life and checking up on each other just because. I am still in shock after learning of Sandy's passing. We were planning a lunch to get together. I met Sandy in 1986.  She not only was my mentor, my manager, but for many years, my best friend. She pushed me when I didn't have faith in myself.  So many memories with her family, camping trips, and just times of good old laughter. No matter what was going on with her health, she always made it about others. She will be dearly missed by all. Love you Hammer......until we meet again.   

Sandy was a dear friend for many years. We had a ball growing up on Harper Lake. Many fond memories of our goofy games and trying to convince people we were sisters.  I looked up to her so much. She was fun. We stayed in close touch for many years. I will miss her laugh.

Sandy, I miss you so very much. You were Thelma to my Louise and we shared so many things the last 20 years. I  learned as much from you as you said you learned from me. You were definitely the wittiness person I have ever met and your optimistic outlook was an inspiration.  You truly loved your kids and adored your Grandkids.  Your sisters meant the world to you and our friendship was endless. I  am so sad you are gone, but, am immensely grateful that we had the friendship that we had. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Love you lots and miss you more.😘

Your mom (and grandma) will be greatly missed. She was so proud of you both and all her grandchildren. After having been good friends for many years, she was with me when I gave my heart to the Lord at her church in Florida almost 40 years ago. In her wisdom, she insisted she buy me a Bible I could understand before I left for home. I have many fond memories of her in our childhood. She loved her friends and was so excited to meet our boys when we visited her when they were little.  She had them enthralled :) She will be missed,  but she is at peace. I’m still in shock after my call with Kristen this afternoon. This woman who was my friend for 30 years has left us, what a heartbreak. May memories of Sandy and her warm, generous, genuine and wickedly funny personality keep her in our hearts forever. Kristen and Matthew she was so proud of both of you, the lights of her life. You and the family have our condolences.  


Sandy was one of the most beautiful people I have had the pleasure of knowing since 1986.  She was a generous, kind person who was so much fun to be around.  Dear Sandy I hope are in peace and know you are so loved and missed.

Sandy, My heart goes out to all of your sisters, your kids and your Grandkids. You were loved by so many people and always kept people smiling, even though you overcame so many of your own battles.
