Joseph Anthony Mannino, age 67, of Largo, Florida passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022. Joseph was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 20, 1954. He moved to Largo, Florida in 1984.
Joseph was a kind soul who enjoyed helping others and loved animals. He had a special love for eagles which is evidenced by his extensive collection of all things “eagle”. He was thrilled when he got to see eagles by the hundreds on his trip to Alaska.
He would greet and chat with neighbors on his daily walks with his beloved dog. We affectionately called him the mayor of the condo as he knew and was liked by so many.
He held various jobs throughout his life. His last job before retirement was in the Dietary Department at a nursing home. He worked in the kitchen and also delivered meals to the patients. He especially enjoyed talking to the patients and brightening their day.
Joseph is preceded in death by father, Anthony. He is survived by his mother, Grace and two sisters, Roseann Nolan and Generose Hetzel.
