Mr. John "Jack" Cahill

79 of Clearwater passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Belleair Health Care Center.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Yvonne Maud Cahill daughters, Cynthia DeMetrovich (Rick), Tampa, FL, Melissa Cahill, New Jersey.

Four Grandchildren, Gabrielle Yvonne deFiebre, Jack, Bill and Sophie Dess,

Brother, Brian (Roberta),PA, sister Suzanne Cahill, NJ, two nieces and six nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanne Salvest.

Jack and Yvonne purchased their first home in Clearwater in 1980 and moved here permanently in 1990 from Randolph, New Jersey.

Jack was born in Queens, New York on October 10, 1932 and served in the Coast Guard for three years. He was a graduate of Lehigh University, PA where he received a B.S. in Business Administration. Jack began his career at Price Waterhouse & Co., NY where he obtained his CPA license. Jack then joined as the International Financial Officer at Warner Lambert, NJ for eight years..

He joined Rockaway Corp, NJ in 1968 and became President and CEO until his retirement in 1989.

Jack was active in the community , serving on local Library and Hospital boards. He also served as a Director on numerous financial institutions across the country.
