Joanne V. Wilson

Joanne graduated from West Shore High School in Harrisburg, PA in 1957. Shortly thereafter she married the father of her 3 children, Jack A. Stickel. She moved to New Fairfield, CT in 1965 where she raised her children. In 1993, she moved to Florida where she began a new life and career in the banking industry. Joanne lived her life to the fullest. Her infectious smile and personality drew people to love her and she loved them. She enjoyed keeping busy and being very involved in her HOA as President for over 15 years. During this time, she met her “soulmate”, Jim, whom she was with until his death in 2018.

She is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn Lombardi. Two sons, Jeff Stickel and John (Anne) Stickel. Grandsons, Kevin (Chasity) Stickel, JD Stickel and great-grandson, Colton Mangini.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Wilson, her father, Howard Wilson, granddaughter, Nicole Mangini; Jack A. Stickel and her long time companion, Jim Pointer.

A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, May 19, 2023 at St. Mary’s Church, 26 Dodgingtown Rd, Bethel, CT. 06801. More details will be available on the website.
