Jamie Lynn Thompson

THOMPSON, Jamie Lynn, 56, of Seminole, FL, died March 27, 2013. Jamie was born in New Brighton, PA and moved to Florida in 1992 from Beaver Falls, PA. She worked as a patient care technician at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, FL for 15 years. She was a member of St. Dunstan’s Anglican Church, Largo. Jamie loved dancing, cheer leading, teaching and computers. She had a passion for helping people, especially children. She is survived by her sons, Douglass James “DJ” (Marianne) Thompson, Beaver Falls, PA and Eric Joseph Lee Haskins, Seminole; mother and step father, Jean and Joseph Gill, Seminole; father, Douglass Thompson, Jr.,Beaver Falls; brother, Michael Thompson, OH; granddaughters, Akyera, Aaliyah, Adisyn and Aizlyn; grandson, Titus; step brothers, Joseph III (Pam) Gill and their daughter, Savanna, FL and Eric (Laurie) Gill and their children, Olivia, Katie and Sam, GA; step sister, Paula Gill, Seminole; foster brothers, Douglas Fortner, PA and the his sons, Brian and Bradley and Thomas (Ann) Fortner and their children, Kristin, Thomas and Tyler, OH and Jerry (Nelly) Fyke, West VA and their daughter, Minna (Aaron) and their children, Caden and Erika, New Orleans and best friends, Vickie Farrow, PA and Pastie Matarazzo. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to Suncoast Hospice.
