its been one yeart since you left us and it seems like only yesterday that we were shopping and talking about baking for christmas i miss you very much and my heart aches for you  love and miss you so much love mom

You were an awesome aunt and lady, denise. You will be missed.

This is hard for so many; Friends and family I send my love, my prayers and my shoulders for support ….. As I sit here and try to compose myself [from crying] long enough to illustrate such a beautiful person – my friend, my second mother, my hero; I feel there are really no words that I can think or say that would fully honor such an amazing and wonderful person as Denise. So I hope and pray that when she reads/sees this she will know in her heart….what she's known all along: that my family was her family, and we will always keep her in our thoughts, hearts and words. She is farther away but never will be forgotten. She will always be loved and each of us anticipates the next time our paths will cross. We miss you dearly Ms. Denise!!!

I first meet Denise when my mother and I moved into the home across the street from hers. Before long we started talking about anything, everything and even nothing of importance at all…Over the years we all became close. I have so many precious and loving memories that I will carry in my heart forever.
 
Denise, you are such a great inspiration to many including myself. I never known a person or mother that would take on so much and never complain or ask for help….she was/is my hero!! She had such a strong will and love she had for everyone including her family, children and friends.

Denise has cared for my children both in a childcare center as well as in her home; my two oldest daughters, my middle daughter, whom she created a strong bond with when she began caring for her when she was only three weeks old as well as my son.  I remember all the holidays; Denise would help all the children make such special gifts that I treasure and show off each chance I get. She always had a smile on her face as well as in her heart for every child. She and her family became my family and they will continue to be my family even though times have separated us with distances. 

Today Denise, I make a promise to you that I will try to no longer cry for the loss of such an amazing, generous, and loving person but to smile at the knowledge of what you brought into my life as well as my children's and we will celebrate your life.

These pictures really tell everything you need to know about how Denise felt about her family.  She and I were cousins on our mothers' side.  Because of the close relationship between those twin sisters, Janet and Janice, because we grew up just a few miles apart, and because Denise and I and all of our siblings were a product of the same school system (good old Brownsdale Elementary and Hayfield High), we spent a lot of time together during our youth at birthday parties, holidays (including every 4th of July for Grandma Johnson's birthday), confirmations, graduations, and weddings.  The whole Tucker family will always hold a very special place in my heart, which is breaking right now for Janice, Terry, Sherri, Linda and Dennis and their families and for everyone who is feeling the pain of this sudden loss.  Even though our lives didn't intersect nearly enough as adults, I am proud to say that Denise Tucker was my cousin, and even more so after reading all the nice things people had to say about her.  I believe that through our common faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we will see each other again in heaven.  I look forward with great anticipation to that blessed reunion of souls!

My mother is a quiet, kind, generous, and loving person; she will do anything she can to help you in a time of need. She is the strongest person I've ever known. She can do it all, nothing stands in her way once she knows what has to be done, always doing more than she has to, always.

My mother's profession is daycare but to her it isn't work. It is a love of children; she takes so much pride in what she does, touching their hearts and making a difference in their lives. Her strong work ethic is so apparent by many.Her life was dedicated to family and children.

She loves her Grandson Jake. She is so proud to be a Grandmother. Showing him off to everyone she can. She is still showing him off to everyone that she meets with great pride and enthusiasm. 

She did everything a mother should and so much more for my sister and I. We are so grateful that we are blessed with such a fantastic mother.

We will miss your laugh, smile, warmth, and playful charm that you brought to the family. Never forgotten may she rest in peace

We Love You Mom!!!

I knew Denise only as Mom, and although she wasn't my biological mother she never treated me as anything other than a daughter. She always kept her door open for me throughout the years and was a great mentor growing up. She gave the best advice and always knew exactly what sweets to cook up when Sherri and I needed a little extra love in our day. I'm blessed to have known such an amazing woman in my lifetime. Mom, you are deeply missed and I love you always.

I wish I could have met Denise, I had heard such wonderful things about her from her son Terry, and my daughter Carley. I know she touched many hearts and helped many children. Her memory will live on through her many good deads, and my heart goes out to the entire family. I know they all will miss her dearly. She was an awesome mom and grandmother. I only knew Denise as a child, but she was a neat girl.  I loved reading the tributes about what a wonderful woman she grew up to be.  God be with her family at this time.  I'm so happy they put the pictures online.

Denise was such an amazing person.She had a smile on her face every time i saw her.She always put everyone else before her and never asked or wanted anything in return.She loved to help others and make people happy.She loved all of her kids she taught and took pride in what she did.She was an absolutly amazing mother too kids,and the best grandma anyone could ask for.I feel blessed to have met her and have had the time with her that i did.She took me and my daughter in and treated us as if we were her own.We will miss her deeply.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Denise. She was my neighbor growing up in Brownsdale, MN. I have nothing but good memories of Denise, as she was always such a nice person, who ALWAYS had a smile on her face. My condolences to her family & may she rest in peace. God be with you, Denise!

Denise was my cousin. I remember the night we stayed at our grandparents house with our siblings and threw firecrackers out the upstairs window!  We were having lots of laughs until we got caught. What a fun memory. Love and sympathy to all the family.

Ms. Denise was a wonderful person who truly cared for children and their early education. I worked with her for a short period of time but I respected her love of teaching and enjoyed many conversations with her regarding her family, especially her grandson. All of us here send our deepest condolences to her family...She was an asset to our staff and she will be deeply missed.

We are saddened to hear that our niece has passed away.  Although we haven't seen each other for several years, we had been in contact through emails and Christmas cards. I know TJ, Sherri and little Jake were the lights of her life.  God Bless you Denise.

Denise was a great woman. She cared for my daughters at school as if they were her own. I will miss seeing her smiling face everyday. I am thankful I had the honor of knowing her. My deepest sympathy to her family! May God be by your side to help you through.

My mother was the strongest most caring person I ever knew ... She was a wonderful teacher and took pride in everything she did. My mom was happy with the little things in life. Denise was known to many by her ways with children. She has touched so many people. She will be missed by so many those who knew her were touched in one way or another. Not only was she known as Denise but also niece by some of the children she has touched. She will hold a special place in everyone's heart everyday.

Denise was such an amazing woman, friend and teacher. I learned so much from her and will always remember everything she taught me. She will be missed by so many and she touched so many people that came into her life. I will always miss you and remember what an amazing woman you were. RIP Denise!!!

Ms. Denise was a wonderful teacher whom I had the pleasure of working with. Her love to teach children and watch them grow was her dedication in life. Her family was her soul and her grandson Jake her heart.
