Anne-Lise Brewer, age 92 of St Augustine, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on March 10, 1930. She was the widow of the late William (Bill) Brewer, who passed away in 2000.
After she married Bill, they lived in Washington, DC to raise their three children: Michael, Stephen and Lise. Anne was a teacher, an artist, a writer, and a student but the role she cherished most was that of devoted mother and wife. In 1984 Anne and Bill moved to Clearwater, FL where they lived happily for many years.
In addition to her many passions in life, spending time with her family is what brought her the most happiness. She loved spending time with her children and their families, especially having family gatherings to celebrate holidays and special occasions. She always looked at the positive, never complained, and always found the best in everyone. We were blessed to have her in our lives for so many years. She will continue to be loved and will be held in our hearts forever.
Anne will always be remembered for her unwavering devotion to the Catholic faith. She was a communicant of the Light of Christ Catholic Church for many years. It was her faithfulness that kept her going through the toughest of times.
She is survived by her daughter Lise and her husband Kevin, son Michael and his wife Kim, and 9 grandchildren; Aiden, Liam, Cameron, Collin, Baylee, Preston, Dylan, Ryan, and Alex.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bill, her son, Stephen and granddaughter Kassie.
A Private Family Service will be held the 3rd week of July in Wells, Maine. Public service details are listed below.
