Dr. Arthur Neal Mack passed away on February 28th, 2022. He was born on December 3rd,1955, in Abilene Texas. He graduated in 1974 from Flora High School where he played first chair trumpet. He enjoyed cross country and performed in several high school plays, including Guys and Dolls. Neal received his undergraduate degree from Graceland College in 1978. He attended University of Illinois where he received his medical degree, then completed his family practice residency at Saint Francis Hospital, Peoria, Illinois.
Neal loved the Lord and was a servant for Jesus. He served his community as an Emergency Room doctor for over 30 years. He used his God given gift of healing to help those who came into his ER and would witness to his patients the care and love that he felt from Jesus. He took his medical and spiritual giftings into missions around the world, including Zambia and the Caribbean. In his free time he enjoyed being outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting when possible. Neal enjoyed baking and gardening, a talent he learned from his mother. He also wrote a book on one of his passions, creationism vs. evolution before his passing.
Neal is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Teresa Wehrheim Mack and four sons Aaron, Andrew and Abraham Mack of Columbia,MO. and Noah Mack of Fort Myers, FL; daughters Abby Mack, and her fiance Adam Foley of Lakeland, GA. Hannah Crawford; son-in-law Brandon Crawford of League City, TX; brother Doug Mack and wife Susan of Flora, IL. niece Stefanie Mack and nephew Nathan Mack of Independence, MO. He was preceded in death by his father; Alonzo V Mack.; mother Mary E. (Milner) Mack; and a sister Cathy Mack.

A celebration of life will be held on April 23rd 2022 11am at First Baptist Church Indian Rocks, Largo, Florida. Neal will be laid to rest at the Neptune Memorial Reef.
