Ronald, a servant of God, went to meet his Savior and Lord on March 8, 2013. He was born March 17, 1950 in Fort Scott, Kansas, to Rev. Paul K. and Emily (Bushey) Moore. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in 1972 from Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, IL and a Master’s of Divinity in 1975 from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a minister in the Church of the Nazarene serving churches in Nevada, California, Indiana and Michigan. He also followed his calling to be a missionary and served in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia for 17 years. He retired in July 2009. Ron died after a long time living with Parkinson’s disease. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Diane (Wright) Moore; son, Paul E. Moore of IL; daughter Judy (Tom) Ewen; granddaughters Ava and Brea of IL; brother, David (Kristin) Moore of Colorado, brother Mark (Sharon) Moore of MI; nephews, Mark (Stacy) Moore; Matt (Heather) Moore; great nephews Drew and Logan Moore, great niece, Ella Moore all of IL; mother-in-law, Beverly Wright and brother-in-law, Tom Wright of Lansing; nieces Rebekah (Greg) Drewiski of WI; Courtney, Caitlyn and Cody Wright, great nephew Wyatt, great niece, Alivia from the Lansing area and many aunts, uncles and cousins around the world. The Memorial service will be held at Lansing South Church of the Nazarene, 401 W. Holmes Rd., Lansing, MI on March 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Rev. Michael McCarty officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the Church.
