Morton was better known by his nickname “Jack”. He grew up on a family-owned farm in the Lansing area. Shortly after high school, Jack was drafted into the 25th Infantry of the US Army. While serving in Germany, he met the love of his life Marianne, who he married a short while later. They moved back to the United States where Jack began working at the Gulf Station on Saginaw Hwy and began his career with the DNR for the State of Michigan.
Jack loved his collectible cars, picking on people, and his newest pride and joy, his Great Grandson.
He was proceeded in death by his parents John and Delores Dibean, sisters Judy (David) Sawyer, Sharyl (Ron) Walling, and his lovely wife Marianne Dibean. He is survived by his brothers Robert Dibean and Richard (Jan) Dibean, sister Dorothy (Jim) Pfister, his sons Michael Dibean (Holly Favel) and Mark Dibean, grandchildren Michael Dibean (Jessica Martinez), Cody Dibean, Jacob Dibean and Ashley Dibean (DShar Harris), and his great grandson Armani Harris, along with many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements will be made for Jack in the near future.
