Mary Lynn Barlow, 66, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2021 while surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Giles and Carol (Penberthy) Barlow, and was a longtime administrator at Michigan State University in the Office of Admissions.
A champion shopper who may have kept a number of local stores in business, Mary loved looking for deals, spoiling her grandkids, and making a “quick trip” to the store last hours. She loved jigsaw puzzles, was an excellent pool player, and being with her sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Jeff, Danny, and Giles Barlow; and her husband, Denny Greenhoe.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Danielle Parker and Steven Schultz; her grandchildren, Justin Gibbs, Malik Austin, and Baby Girl; and her siblings, Greg Barlow, Jeanne Barlow, Patty Gneiting, and Wendy (Bill) Elliott.
Funeral Services will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at South Lansing Christian Church, 6300 Aurelius Road in Lansing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at church, as well as on Sunday, April 25 from 2pm until 5pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave. in Lansing.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s honor to the church.
