Kathleen Archer

Kathy was a longtime associate of Michigan Bell/Ameritech, starting her career as an administrator and ending her time with the SBC Communications as a fiber optic technician. She was deeply involved in her church, St. Casimir Catholic Church, where she served as an altar server, a Eucharistic minister, and participated in ministries that allowed her to pursue her passion of card making. Many friends, family members, and parish members are familiar with her beautiful, hand crafted greeting cards. Kathy was also a voracious reader, especially enjoying fiction, mysteries, and romance novels.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Bernadette Lewis.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of nearly 34 years, Bruce E. Archer; her stepchildren, Marianne Archer, Craig Archer (Jen), Beth Kielts and Brooke Ann Donnelly (Frank); her step-grandchildren, Nathan, Paige, Tara and Sean; her sisters, Mary (Paul) Knab, Beatrice "Bea" Lewis, Ann Lewis, Elizabeth "Beth" (the late Randy) Thatcher; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11am at St. Casimir Catholic Church, 815 Sparrow Ave. in Lansing, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers a memorial contributions may be made in Kathy's honor to St. Casimir Catholic Church parish.
