Joseph Joey Allen Roper

Joey was admitted to Sparrow Hospital on Sunday February 12th in the early hours of the morning.Joseph went through multiple surgeries and fought until the very end.

Joey donated his organs through the Gift Of Life program and was able to save 6 more families from having to go through this terrible fate.Joey didn't have the longest life but a very eventful life it was

from a young age his artistic abilities showed through.Joey started tattooing at the age of 18 and the lifestyle and art consumed him.In just a few years Joey had developed his gift into a career and started professionally working as a tattoo artist.Josephs work has been featured in Inked Magazine and multiple tattoo shops.At the age of 30 Joseph decided it was time for him to own his own shop so found a building and started the process to get it to code for his business Ink Illusions,Unfortunately he never got to finish this project.Joey was one of seven children,Joey was in the middle he has one older sister,Tricia,two younger brothers Stevon and David and four older brothers Jacob,Andrae,Tim,and Steve Joey has left four beautiful children behind to carry on his legacy,two boys caz and jackson and two girls bree and kali.Joseph's funeral arrangements are provided by Gorsline Funeral home in Lansing,Michigan.There will be a viewing on Tuesday February 21st from 4-8 p.m and funeral on Wednesday February 22nd at 11:00 a.m.Joseph's final resting place will be at Mt.Hope Cemetery in Lansing,Michigan
