Joe Marion Green

Joe was born on November 21, 1933 in Gleason, TN, the son of Marshall and Georgia (Turner) Green. He was in the graduating class of 1951 at Gleason High School. Following high school, he proudly served the United States of America in the Army.

Joe married his love, Audrey Marie Radford on March 23, 1963 in Lansing, MI, and together, they built a life and family filled with love.

Joe went on to work for General Motors and retired there after 40 years. He found himself not quite ready for retirement yet, so he went to work for Enterprise Rental Car for 10 more years. \

In his freetime, Joe loved to go on a boat ride. Being on the water soothed him. He also took great pride in keeping up on his yard. He was always tending to it. But most of all, Joe's family was his priority and his world. He loved being a husband, father and grandfather. There was not anything he would not do for his family.

To honor Joe's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no services at this time.

Joe is survived by his wife, Audrey Green; his daughter, Shelly Brickner; grandchildren, Grace Green, Jolynn Brickner, and Amanda Brickner; great-grandchild, Ezaire "Ezzy" Shaw; and his sister, Doris Wiggins.

Joe is preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Jo Browning; parents, Marshall and Georgia Green; and his siblings, Henry Green, Margaret Perry, and Turner Green.
