Age 79 died June 28, 2014. She was born on August 20, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Edna (May) Coblentz. She was a model for Jacobson's Department Store. She married Floyd Sullivan on July 23, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio. They moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. She opened J&M Interiors with her best friend Marge Collar. The family moved back to Lansing in 1977 where Floyd worked for and retired from G.M after 30 years. Joanne was extremely active and loved to travel. She always left the house looking her best with makeup and heals on. She was a wonderful mother and loved all her children.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Floyd Sullivan. She is survived by her son Floyd G. (Celia) Sullivan; daughters Becky Sullivan, Vicky (James) Kutt, Susan (John) Morlock; grandchildren Scott, Megan and Bradley Sullivan, David Verderese, Laura Sterle, John, Tyler, Sadye, Shelby, Brody, and Sydney Kutt, Taylor Morlock; and 12 great grandchildren; brother Russell Coblentz and sister Jean Coblentz.
