Age 62, died April 11, 2011; born June 4, 1948 in Johnson City, New York. Mrs. Gardner was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Anthony. Mom, we are going to miss your kolachki’s, nut cups, and leckvar squares. The way you made your homemade noodles wearing your babushka and your cooking would have won a blue ribbon every time. You were always thinking of others, praying for their needs and forgetting your own. We will hold in our hearts what a wonderful mother, wife, friend, and confidante you are. We wouldn’t be who we are today if it wasn’t for your unselfish, kind, loving nature. You will be missed greatly. I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, and as long as I am living my mom you’ll be. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 15, 10:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, 1535 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with the Rosary at 8:00 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Church of the Resurrection in memory of Mrs. Gardner.
