Jacklyn Beatrice Devine, age 88, of Lansing, MI was born November 21, 1933 to Joseph and Gladys Devine and passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022.
Jacklyn graduated from Edgewood College with a degree in microbiology and had a career as a microbiologist and pathologist. Jacklyn had a special ability to make friends everywhere she went with her outgoing personality and quick-wit sense of humor. Being the social butterfly she was, she never missed an opportunity to throw a party for any occasion and loved to dress up for it. Jacklyn had an adoration for animals as much as people, especially her own fur babies. She had many hobbies including reading, gardening, and was a big movie buff. Jacklyn was proud of her Irish heritage and was even able to travel to Ireland and many places in her lifetime. She will be deeply missed and loved by all who knew her.
Jacklyn was the loving mother of Jocelyn Davis, Carolyn (late Jeff) Abel, and the late Mark S. Hoover; cherished grandmother of Nicholas C. Davis, Rhyse (Monica) J. Davis, and Kylee (Ron) Rouse; great grandmother of Easton Davis, Bodhi Davis, Dylan Davis, and the late Deana Abel and Lucca Davis; and special friend of Christopher Maple and Ann Marie Bourdon.
