It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Don M. Baker Jr. passed away on June 3, 2024. He worked at Associated Grocery for 30 years. Aerotech for the last 7 years in the work force.
His love of Motor cross when he was young encouraged him to pass down to his son Casey. Casey has passed it down to his 2 sons Nick & John. He loved hunting & fishing for many years which he shared with his brother Gary. He loved more than anything was bowling that he was on leagues for years. He was able to share that with his brother, sons Casey & Scott & grandson as they bowled together for 2 years on leagues.
His past time was spent watching MSU sports on television along with the Tigers. He enjoyed taking trips to Branson, Missouri with Darlene. The past few years he and his wife enjoyed going to the casino with their good friends Bill & Brenda Wickham.
He was preceded in death by his father Don Baker Sr, mother Jeanne Baker and grandson Brian Timmer.
He leaves behind his wife of 41 years Darlene Baker; brother Gary Baker, son Casey (Paula) Baker, son Scott Johnson, step-son Kurt (Kellie) Swift & step-daughter Kathy (Daniel) Giganti; grandsons Nicholas Baker, John Baker, Travis (Tiffany) Hughes, Derek Giganti; granddaughters Jenifer (Andrew) Wood, Daniele (Jeremiah) Budd, Casandra (Brandon) Kirkham & Ashley Giganti and fourteen great-grandchildren. He will be remembered and live on in our hearts forever.
