Dominique Elizabeth Hawn

Dominique was born in OakRidge Tennessee. The daughter of Christine Adam’s and Vernon Hawn. Dominique sought out to make her own ways with life. Making sure she made it what she wanted without question. She gained a second family and looked to Chris and Lesia Hannahs as her other set of

parents. Dominique began BMX racing with them and loved it so much.You could see the joy it brought her all over her face. She loved to show off those trophies. It was always such a big accomplishment to her. She once said it was the time of her life. When the bike hit the dirt she didn’t think about anything else. It was a way to clear her thoughts and escape from everyday life. Being with family made all the difference in the world to her. At times when she didn’t know how to be with everyone she still carried our

love with her. She was so ambitious and outgoing and would give anything she absolutely could to help those that needed her even if she needed it more. Dominique always had this energy about her that came through that beautiful smile of hers. She truly could light up a room with that smile and laughter. She was such a beautiful soul through and through. She found strength in struggles to get through today and be strong for tomorrow. She was fearless and kind and truly a blessing to have known. Preceding Dominique in death is her Grandpa Loyd fields, Grandma Jennie Fields, her Uncle’s Larry Fields, Michael Fields and cousin Danny Fields. She is survived by her mother Christine Adams (Rick) and Father Vernon

Hawn, her son Andreas Rogers, sisters Kyra Hawn and Annalesia Rogers. brothers Cole Shepard(Tasha), and Curtis Hawn, her 6 aunts, 3 uncles and 42 cousins, beloved dog Prince and many friends and loved ones.

A memorial service for Dominique will be held Sunday, January 16, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912, with visiting prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
