On March 14, 2021 Dennis Lee Larson was called home to be with the Lord. He was born to the parents David and Doris (Lenon) Larson in Lansing Michigan on January 31, 1956. After high school Dennis decided to serve his country and joined the United States Coast Guard and obtained the rank of Chief Petty Officer before retiring from the military.
Afterward Dennis returned home and started working at B & D Electric Company where he became a Master Electrician. He also enjoyed several interest in photography and bird watching. Dennis loved to sing and was a talented musician playing several instruments. Also if he wasn't in the house you could find him planting trees and flowers around the home. His family was dear to his heart and his wife Wanda was the love of his life. They were married nearly 44 years coming this May. Together they created a wonderful home for their children and grandchildren. In the summer they would take them to see the fireworks and common ground for the festivities. They also like to go to the state camp grounds and see all the light houses that Michigan has to offer.
Dennis is preceded in death by his father David Frederick Larson. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife Wanda Lynn (Drake) Larson; children Amanda (Ralph) Giannotti, Justin Larson, Tracy (Justin) Roddy and David Larson; 11 grandchildren; mother Doris Arlene Larson; brother Daniel (Sarah) Larson; sister Diana (Jim) Pinckney and a host of nieces and nephews. A family gathering will be held at a later date.
