He was born on March 8, 1949 in Lansing, Michigan and was the beloved son of William Eugene Phillips and Shirley Marie Moore.
Bill earned his Bachelor's degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University and dedicated 30 years of his life to General Motors, where he made lasting contributions.
A faithful member of First Church of the Nazarene in Mason, MI, Bill found solace and community in his faith. He shared 54 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Marilyn Jean Phillips.
Bill will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Marilyn Jean Phillips; daughters, Kerry Platz (Tony Miller) and Kristina Morgan (Rob Morgan); grandchildren, Alicia, Jennifer, Tiffanie, Joe, Brenden, Ryan, Megan, Matthew, Jessica, Robby, Jon, and Kimi; several great-grandchildren; and cousin, Debbie Whitelock.
A committal service will be held in his honor at Fort Custer National Cemetery on February 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to Hopewell Ranch, 16410 W Leiter Rd., Weidman, MI 48893.
Bill's legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him. May he rest in eternal peace.
