She was born on May 11th, 1932 and passed May 11th, 2020.
Verna came from a large family with 8 siblings, Irma, Rita, Helen, Frank, Bill, Roy, Bob and Dick. She leaves behind 13 children, Wanda, Linda, Toni, Jim, Ray, Rick, Caroline, Sue, Lori, Gary, Judy, Sharon and Chris. She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She devoted her life to her family and was dedicated to all their activities and events. She loved playing on the family baseball team, going to bingo and filling in her weekly crosswords. Hockey had a special place in her heart, whether it was watching the Canucks or cheering on her grandkids at the rink. Elvis was her favourite singer. She enjoyed watching all his movies, and loved to dance and sing whenever she got the chance.
She will be dearly missed by anyone and everyone who was a part of her life. She will always and forever be in our hearts.
