Laurette Snell né Bouchard

An extraordinary woman, my mother, passed away in BC on the afternoon of Nov 25th. Laurette,”La Carotte Rouge” her childhood nickname, is survived by her beloved remaining brother Peter and his wife Grace.

At 97, Mum laid waste to the idea that "youth is wasted on the young." She led an extraordinary life and with her best friend, Pat raised a large blended family. The concept "chosen family" could easily have been coined by them. Mum hasn't left, she's just watching us from a different vantage point.

Thanks Mum for ensuring I always knew what was important: our chosen family!
