Jeff was born March 13, 1962 to Gerry & Emma Lou Smith, in Calgary Alberta. He enjoyed scouting, friends, family, camping, skiing and playing hockey in his youth. Jeff earned the rank of Queen Scout through his hard work and determination. He is a 1980 graduate of Lord Beaverbrook High School in Calgary. Jeff worked and resided in Calgary, Kelowna and Langley BC.
Jeff always had a winning smile and a special hello for his friends and family. Many have used these words to describe him: Big hearted, kind, gentle fellow, easy-going friend, great man, fun, special and friendly. Jeff shared these characteristics and many more, with all those he encountered.
Jeff is survived by his parents Gerry Smith (Bernarene) & Emma Lou Child; sons Jordan and Liam; sisters Dana (Doug) Ashby, Noelle Ayers; several nieces, a nephew and numerous cousins.
