Gordon passed away peacefully on a warm fall Saturday night, Oct 1, 2022 in Langley, BC after a short illness. Gordon Franklin Edmunds was born July 8, 1935 in Shoal Lake, Manitoba where he spent most of his childhood. Gordon was a licensed contact lens specialist and owned Contact Lens Services in Winnipeg and Hale Contact Lens Services in Vancouver. He retired after practicing for 36 years. Following retirement Gordon acted in several commercials and documentaries and enjoyed many years of golfing and playing music until a month before his passing.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Lillian, his daughters and their families Vonda (Greg Dickman) and Velda (Mark Williams) and his grandchildren Malcolm Gordon and Aysha (Graeme Elliot) and great-grandchildren - Adryan, Alexander & Esme.
Gordon will be greatly missed by his many friends and loving family. His Celebration of Life will be held at Newlands Golf and Country Club on Monday, October 17th at 1:00 PM.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Club Freedom at Broadway Church.
