Fay was born and raised in the Westend of Vancouver. During her childhood she explored the beauty of English Bay and Stanley Park. Fay graduated from Fairview High School of Commerce to pursue a career as a secretary. She worked at Dominion Bridge then Federated Co-op where she met her one and only love Tony Rooke. In 1957 she married Tony and became a loving mother to his daughter Janet. They moved to North Delta and in 1960 welcomed their daughter Teresa.
Fay and Tony remained in the same neighborhood in Delta for the best years of their lives and cherished the lasting relationships with their neighbors.
Tony passed away in 1984 and Fay never remarried. Fay's passions were the arts where she was involved in painting and theatre. She was an avid bowler in her senior years. Fay also took pride in completing the New York Times crossword puzzle everyday.
Predeceased by her husband Tony, Father Lionel Sr, Mother Ina, Brother Lionel Jr and Son in Law Berge.
Fay is survived by her daughters Janet and Teresa (Kerry), 2 Grandchildren Elysia (Marko), Wyndstan (Daisy) and 3 Great Grandchildren Lance, Tatiana and Joshua.
Fay will be forever remembered by her family and friends.
