Ken and Marilyn,
 You and your family are in my prayers. Ruth was a dear friend. I will miss our phone calls. The good times I had with her and Aunt Biddie are something I will always treasure. God bless you.

Ken, Marilyn, Trent, and Travis - We were sad to hear of Ruth's passing, but as you know - we're very happy to know she's with Fred in heaven. She was such a joy, I can't ever remember her not being happy! We won't be able to make it over Sunday with this snow storm coming, but have been praying for your family as you prepare for Monday and her life's celebration. Much love and hugs to all of you.

Aunt Ruth you will be missed by all of us. We were blessed having such a wonderful Aunt. We love you.

Thanks to my sister's research of our family history we found Ruth was living in Lancaster. I am so sorry I didn't know sooner but am so glad I had the privilege to visit with her a few times when I was in Lancaster.She was such a wonderful, delightful person. I was truly blessed to have been able to meet her. Just the thought of our visits brings a smile to my face and a tear to my eyes.

Although I never was able to sit and hold Ruth's hand as she told me family stories, I delighted in our telephone conversations where she shared her memories of the Sudlow family in her effort in helping me fill in blanks in writing the family story.  Her love of family and her warmth came through in each of our conversations.  I shall miss our telephone calls as this branch of the family has lost a very important and last member of that generation.  My sympathy to Ken and all the family.

I was so blessed to meet Ruth and experience her warmth and hospitality. I only wish that life hadn't gotten in the way of visiting her more! I am saddened by her passing, but she had a wonderful life surrounded by people who loved her.

I only recently 'found' Ruth while working on the Sudlow family story.  We never met face to face and yet I feel a great loss because of the warmth of her telephone conversations. I am sorry I did not get to sit and hold her hand as she recounted her life stories or that our planned family gathering this coming summer will not be but I will always have a spot in my heart for her and her love of family.  My sympathy to Ken and all the family.

My search to find my ancestors led me to Ohio and Ruth, who was my father's cousin. I feel so privileged to have known her and so enjoyed her stories of relatives I never met. Even though I live in Maine, and was only able to visit Ohio and Ruth a few times, she was often in my thoughts. What a beautiful, special person she was and I am so proud to be related to her.

We send our sympathy. We remember your parents at Hubert Ave. Baptist Church. They were baptized the same day that I (Sue Ann Dykes) was.  May God fill your heart with wonderful memories.

Many of God's blessings are like the beautiful garden of flowers which bloom one day and are gone shortly thereafter. The memory of their precious beauty and wonderful aroma lasts with us. Reflecting back on Ruth and Fred the beauty of each of their smiles warms my heart and the gentle way Ruth spoke so kindly of everyone speaks forever of the blessed soul she was. I am so blessed to have known she and Fred. Warmest blessings to the family during this time of loss, reflection and rejoicing.

Ruth was our great friend. Steve, Arianna and I picked her up for church. She was a very loving and kind soul. I'm sure Steve was at Heavens gate to meet her and their reunion was spectacular. My sympathies to your family.

So sorry for your loss Ken and family. I remember Ruth well from Hubert Avenue Baptist Church and visits with her with Estella Cornell. Prayers are with you and the family.

We were so very blest to know ole'mom and ole'dad. we are so sorry for your loss and take comfort in knowing what a great Christian Ruth was and I still remember when she took care of Mike and Tracy in the nursery.

So sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. We remember her well from our stay in Lncaster. She was a lovely kind lady & we missed vsiting with her when we moved back to WV. I think of her every time I make her ginger cookie recipe!
