Ronald Lee Romine

He worked many years at Rockwell International where he helped build the B1 Bomber, Sunoco paper mill, and Zebco Industries. Ronnie was a member of the Eagles and created many friendships over the years. He was a diehard Buckeyes and Browns fan and ushered at OSU football games for over 20 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed.

Ron is preceded in death by the love of his life for 63 years, Betty L. Romine; daughter and son-in-law, JoAnne and Leonard Sullivan; parents, George and Blanche Romine; siblings, Wayne Romine, Robert Romine, Don Romine, Charles Romine, Evelyn Morgan, Mary Romine, Stella Featheroff and Wanda Thomas.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Rhonda (Alan) Lerch, Tonya Dobbins (Andy Short) and Denise (Tony) Roberts; great grandchildren, Taylor Frazier (Kevin Yarger), Zac Frazier, Alex (Tabitha) Frazier, Phillip Lerch, Baron (Faith) Sullivan, Amelia Dobbins, Nick Robberts, and Abby Robberts; nieces and nephews, Patty (Doyle) Disbennett, Steve (Jenny) Romine, Judy Romine-Mays (John Nakeski), Jill Romine-Myers, Debbie Moyer, Karla Hartshorn and Rodgenia Saxour; many great great grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the FMC ICU staff, OR Staff, Dr. Cohen, and Dr. Bruce for their care and kindness.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 9th at 10 AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will take place at Green Summit Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home.
