Robert Eugene Thomas, 87 of Lancaster passed away on Monday, December 13th, 2021 at Primrose. Robert was born in Lancaster, Ohio on March 28th, 1934 to the late John R. and Dorothy E. Thomas. He was a 1952 Graduate of Lancaster High School, as well as a Graduate of the University of Cincinnati. Robert was employed by Anchor Hocking, where he worked in the Finance Department until his retirement. Robert was a member of Olivedale Senior Center and the RMS Match Cover Club.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Thomas Golobish) Thomas; granddaughter, Sarah Golobish; grandson, Kyle Golobish; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leota J. Thomas; infant son, Mark Allen Thomas; his brother, Glenn R. Thomas; and his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at 3PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held from 1PM-3PM on Saturday at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life will be Livestreamed from the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home Facebook page. Private Burial is to take place at Maple Grove Cemetery.
