Robert W. Shull, 100, of Lancaster died Thursday, November 11th, 2021 at the Lanfair Center in Lancaster. He was born on June 4th, 1921 in Colton, Ohio. Robert served his Country in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. He received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Toledo. Robert, wife, Tadora and daughters, Debra and Diana moved to Lancaster in 1962. He worked as a Research Chemist for Anchor Hocking until his retirement. Robert was a past Commander of the Fairfield Post American Legion and a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his children, Debra of California, Diana Shull, Lancaster; granddaughter, Amy Worden, and grandson, Jason of California; great-grandchildren, Nicole Worden, Christina Worden, Quentin Worden, Jeremy Patterson, and Jason Patterson.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Tadora “Teddie” Shull; parents, Helen and Joseph Shull; brothers, Joe Shull and Charles Shull; sister, Juanita Shull; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Amelia and Velico Trifonoff.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 22nd, 2021 at 1PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. G. William Pursley officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Forest Rose Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4PM and 6-8PM, Sunday at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. A Masonic Service will be held at 8PM following the visitation on Sunday.
