June R. Adkins, 94, left this life to start her new life in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 2nd, 2022.
June was the daughter of Art and Jesse Ruth, being one of five children. She raised three daughters; Kathy (Michael) Lewellen, Cheryl (Mike) Pettit, and Barb (Dennis) Forquer. Our mother saw six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren in her lifetime. June’s husband John W. Adkins preceded her in death.
Our mother worked at a few different jobs over the course of time. Fairfield County Hospital, Diamond Power and Secretary at Calvary Baptist church for about 25 years, which was her favorite job. She was a member of the church for over fifty years.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 8th, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church at 10:30AM. The services will be Livestreamed and can be accessed by going to www.haltemanfettdyer.com. Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 5PM-7PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. Pastor Matthew Nihiser will be officiating. Burial will take place on Tuesday at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
