Devoted, loving, and cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend was taken into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.
He was born to the late Robert E. Rarick and Elizabeth (Rarick) Wolfe on March 8, 1960 in Lancaster, Ohio.
Bruce graduated from Bloom Carroll High School in 1978 where he enjoyed a variety of sports, but stood out particularly on the basketball court. Bruce was a dedicated employee at Central Silica Sand Industries for 34 years until the closure of the business. He then began employment at Crown, Cork & Seal. Bruce was his children and grandchildren's number one fan at all of their band competitions, ball games, school functions, and life in general. Bruce loved Jesus and was very active in his church where he was involved in leading youth groups, church's softball teams, and running the sound system. Bruce's hobbies included taking his wife on motorcycle adventures. They also enjoyed cycling hundreds of miles a year with their friends. Bruce also enjoyed construction work and was very knowledgeable and talented in that area. Bruce had a serving spirit, always wanting and willing to help others.
In addition to his father, Bruce is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Anna L. Hall; cousin, Rick Greene; nephew, Adam Hall; brother-in-law, Keith Hall; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Smith, Pat Edwards, and Betty Ann Hall.
Bruce also greatly loved his Yorkie, Gabriel, who passed away in 2021, and his Grand-Dog, Marlo Ann, who passed away in 2024.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy (Hall) Rarick, who loved him with all her heart; his children, Zaneta (Joshuah) Brown, Hannah Rarick, Elijah (Lauren) Rarick, and Gracie Rarick; his grandchildren, Zoey Brown and Lenna Rarick; brothers-in-law, Silas Hall II, John Edwards, Rick (Lori) Hall, and Gary (Teri) Hall; sisters-in-law, Barbara Hightower, Charlotte (David) Blair, Betty Johnson, and Peggy Hall; his mother and siblings, Jeff Rarick, David (Sheri) Rarick, Susan Rarick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 11:00am-1:00pm, Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Halteman-Fett & Dyer funeral home located at 436 North Broad Street, Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Funeral service to follow at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

His absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him, but we rejoice with him as he enters Heaven's gates.
