Where ever Roberta went during her day to day routine, she always managed to make acquaintances and witness to people about Jesus. Whether it was the grocery store, gas station or bookstore, she was only a stranger once. Roberta interacted with people throughout the community and she had the ability to remember a person's name and maybe even the names of their family members, depending on the amount of time she spent conversing with them. She always made herself available to pray for people and their family members no matter who or where she was on any given day.
Roberta's greatest joy next to Jesus Christ were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would often say how proud she was of them. Nothing delighted her more than to speak of their accomplishments and their humorous personalities. she enjoyed hearing stories about the silly things her great-grands would do and say. Roberta was a prayer warrior who prayed continuously for her family's protection, prosperity, and most of al for God to use each of them for His Glory.
Preceding Roberta in death were her parents, Handy Sanders and Mary Alice Sanders: two sisters, Alice Marie Lane-Bills and Kathy McCloud; two brothers, Tommy Sanders and Dwight Sanders.
