Grandma, 
I can’t believe it’s been a year since your passing. Everyday you are loved and thought of. When I see a bird sitting on the telephone polls it’s a sign that you are still here watching over me. I miss you so much, my heart still hurts that you aren’t with us anymore. I know your an angel with god. I know that you are whole again. It snowed today and I thought of you and your stories of the snow in Chicago, Illinois. How you walked home in the snow and stopped to play in it. You taught us that it’s okay to get a little dirty while having fun.

This is my favorite picture of you and me when I was little. I know there’s nothing like the bond between a mother and her children. 
I feel especially blessed to have had such a special relationship with you. I know we had our differences, but always knew deep down that you just wanted the best for me. I miss hearing you call me “Sunshine” but I also know beyond comprehension that you are with Jesus Christ.. You are in a wonderful place where there is no pain, only joy! I can’t imagine all the things you’ve been able to see  in Heaven. I find Hope in knowing that we will be able to spend Eternity together and enjoy all the miraculous things God has designed for his children. I want to “Thank you”  Mom for your unfailing Love, your Guidance, Sweet Hugs, tender and not so tender. Lol.. 
I really miss our coffee mornings with conversations of the day, etc…I miss cheering you on as you worked so hard on those puzzle gifts for the “family”. Mom you would be so proud of the puzzle collage  Natalie and I created for your service. It now hangs lovingly in your bedroom and it just reminds me of your ❤️ heart. Words can’t express how much you mean to me. Thank you for all the years you took care of me. I will never forget helping you shave your legs when you were injured 😂 I will never forget your breakfast potatoes. I will never forget the way you used to wake me up by tickling my ear when I was little. I will never forget how much I loved making you laugh. There are so many memories I will never forget but the best for me was my wedding day❤️ I’m so happy you got to see me walk down the aisle. That memory meant the world to me.

Photo Taken—July 14, 2020 : I just wanted to share a special summer memory of Mom at Ventura Beach.  She had recovered from her hip surgery and it was time for a beach trip! She was so happy because she loved being by the ocean. I am so thankful that I was able to bring her there because we had such a wonderful time.  I mean just to see her “smile” and see her walking at her favorite place……brought both of us so much joy.

Gram, it feels like almost everyday I cry about you even just shedding one tear. I have never cried when family has passed, except Nana. With you, there was always that love and understanding that I felt you always gave me. I could act like a total goofball one day and a grumpy brat another, but you're attitude towards me never changed. Throughout the years I felt your love and even though your not here, I still feel it. Voicemails and text messages I can't erase. I watch videos just to hear your voice. While working I teared up just when someone says gram (measurements), how sad is that! I'm sorry that you won't see me graduate, I know you'd of been so proud of me for sticking to my dreams. I'm also sorry that I've never been close to the family and when you moved in with Aunt Renee our relationship was only texting/calls. I'm sorry for breaking down at your funeral, I thought I'd be fine, but once I showed my tattoo that was it. As for memories, I remember when you were in your apartment I'd come once a week and clean so your stubbornness wouldn't get on a stool. I had to take a picture before touching anything so when I put it back it would be perfect! My absolute favorite memory with you is secretly recording you and watching how annoyed you got! Like the time you just had to make me and Vinny a sandwhich. I was recording you and you looked over and yelled "Are you taking my picture!" Lol and the reply was always "nooooooo.........its video!" Lol you smacked my arm so hard and that goofyness is what I miss. Or when I took you to the 99 cent store and played Missy Elliot, you turned it up, rolled the window down and started jamming! There will never be anyone like you Gram! I'm so thankful that you were in my life. We love you Gram!

Hi MAMA BIRD....I just wanted to say "THANK YOU" for the MOTHER'S TOUCH NECKLACES you left for JULIANN, RENEE, and ME.  They finally came in the other day.  You gave us one last final gift.....and it just made me miss you that much more.  You were so thoughtful and the way you loved "US" GIRLS  is incomprehensible. Also, the way you loved your family.... grandchildren/great-grandchildren, etc.----- well everyone who knew "YOU",  feels the loss of your passing. Mom, I finally put the memorial decal on my car the other day after washing my it. Juliann had the car decals made for herself, Renee, and I. Mom, I guess it was just my way of not accepting your death by not putting the decal on....Okay, remember I am the "ODD" KID?  Anyways, I have so many wonderful memories of you and me in my car.....going to Dollar Tree,  99 Cents Store, Walmart, etc. We'd also go and get something to eat. Many times, we would sit at the park and eat inside the car to avoid the wind. I hated the fact that the wind could take your breath away.  Mom,  I miss you so much--- Love Your Baby Bird #1 

Mom,
I will never forget the day I came into the kitchen and told you that Juliann wouldn’t play house with me. Juliann was the “baby” and I was the “mommy”. I was pretending to feed Juliann and she didn’t want to play BC there wasn’t anything on the spoon. I will always remember the look Juliann gave me when I tried to play pretend with her.  Basically,  she looked at me with disappointment and confusion….well Mom that’s when you gave me some applesauce. To this day, whenever I eat applesauce, I think of that day when  I was just three years old and you solved that simple problem. You didn’t send me away….You were never too busy….You were such a great Mom and I miss you terribly. PS… Juliann loved playing pretend with me and she even asked for more…Mom gave she a little bit more applesauce and gave me this wonderful childhood memory. Thanks Mom

I didn’t even realize what a gift I was given to have had such a loving grandma in my life. It’s hard to think that I may have never know such love from one person. It’s been 4 months and I pass by birds and think my grandma is watching over me and trying to tell me she’s still here just in a different way. The pain from loss isn’t better and it’s not getting easier. I wish I could have had the chance to say goodbye, I can’t help but think that maybe this would have given me closure. I want to find love, hope that I’ll see you again. Peace to know you are okay. I love you Grandma

As I celebrated my birthday today I remembered the cards you sent me. In each card you sent you told me how special I was. I hold on to the last card you sent me where it said we had fun just being together. I have been looking at some gifts for grandmas as we are close to Mother’s Day. I’ll never forget what it meant to have you in my life. A grandma that loved me all my life. I loved you since the day I was born. Happy Mother’s Day to my Gram in heaven. I love you always!!!!!

Grammy I miss you very much. I miss your smile and what and amazingly strong person you were. I think about you everyday and my heart hurts so much that I  can’t give you a hug or see you. I’m trying my hardest to remember all the good years we had together. I love you! Thank you for always being my angel.
