Joseph Samuel Abraham Winters

Joseph Abraham Samuel Winters was born December 24, 1950 in Galveston Texas to his parents Johnnie and Samantha Winters. Joseph Lincoln High School. He was a great artist and loved drawing as well as dancing and celebrating with friends and family. Joseph would sometimes attend Westward St. Church of Christ with his brother Horace E. Winters under leadership of Bro. Rowe . Joe sisters would send him care packages, and his sister Freda would love to share gag gifts with him for laughs as he smiled and enjoyed his 8 -track machine from the 70’s with his sister. About 5 years ago Joseph moved to Houston,Tx. and was cared for by Mizebra and the staff of Golden Years. Joseph departed life June 5th with a smile on his face after very brief illness at Seabreeze Adult Nursing Home in LaMarque TX. His Cousin Sue was able to assist in caring for him there. Joseph was preceded in death by his loving parents Johnnie and Samantha Winters, brother John L. Winters(Mattie), Sister Doris W. Milburn(Clary), Alfreda Winters and Brenda W.McCoy both of Seattle WA. ,and loving Sister in law Shelia Winters of Dickinson,TX.

Joseph left to cherish his memories his older brother Horace Winters and Brother in-law Ken McCoy, sister Cynthia Winters. Joe Very special niece Rosiland Winters Humphrey who continued to care for Joe Joe after the passing of his Mom and Dad and a host of nieces and nephews as well as many cousins and friends many from LaMarque,TX.
